Mr. & Mrs. Dan Yeager

You have to love technology - not even 24 hours after Dan and I have become man and wife we already have photographic evidence of the event. No waiting for film to be developed or proofs. Here are a sampling of pictures taken by Dan's sister Evie (my sister-in-law - yay!). It really was a fantastic day - the reception was tons of fun - we had almost 300 people which I have to say is a lot - made it difficult to say hello to everyone...sigh...I hope no one is offended!

Anyway, it's half-time - GO EAGLES!!! and we are beating Detroit so I should try and get some laundry done so we have clean clothes for St Lucia. We leave tomorrow. Yay!!!

I have a cold

The before my wedding and I have a cold. I sit here typing this with a tissue stuffed up my nose - which by the way is turning red. I am eating Coldeez and Zicam by the buckets so hopefully we put the kabosh on this ASAP.

I leave you with a pic of my fab green dress from the wedding Dan and I went to on Labor Day Weekend. And a pic of the cake because the pic came out so well I figured I would post it.

Enjoy!

5 more days

I apologize for being MIA - as you can imagine I am a complete nut job getting everything done for my impending nuptials. I picked up my dress yesterday and thankfully it fits perfectly. I did eat and entire pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream tonight so maybe that won't be the case in 5 days but I needed it. I promptly feel asleep afterwards, despite the fact that the Eagles are on Monday night football. Clearly I am exhausted.

I think the most stressful part is all the work I have to do for Cabrini. One of my professors is making me mail her all the work that I should have handed in while on my honeymoon. Seriously it is the LAST thing on my mind and I the caliber of my work is suffering. Oh well. I am looking forward to reading all the books for my Lit and Youth class while on my honeymoon. We are reading some amazing young adult literature. I just finished "The Giver" by Lois Lowry what an amazing book. I am now reading "Seedfolks" by Paul Fleischman. I wish we had such books when we were in 5,6,7,8 grade.

The bright spots in my week include the kids in my pre-school class. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. The are the nicest and sweetest 3 year olds - I look forward to going to work for the first time, well, ever.

OK, off to do more lit circle summaries for my class. I may or may not blog again before St. Lucia. If we have Internet access I will try to post from there.

A bientot mes cheres.

3 more weeks!

In honor of my impending marriage, I finally figured out how to reduce the size of my engagement pics so that I could post some of them here. Some of you have seen these but for those of you that haven't here are (in my opinion) the best two shots.

Check SpellingThere were so many good ones to chose from...I will upload more if I have time this weekend. We are headed to a wedding tonight and an all day bbq tomorrow.

I cannot wait to see what our wedding photos look like!!! Our photogs rock!
